Join Our Team | Senior Aluminium Fabricator

Slaithwaite, Huddersfield (HD7)

UK Curtain Walling Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Aluminium Fabricator to join our team in Slaithwaite.

Working across a wide range of commercial glazing, curtain walling, window and door projects, you’ll play a key role in maintaining our high manufacturing standards while supporting the day-to-day operation of the workshop.

Established in 2017 and backed by decades of industry expertise, UK Curtain Walling Ltd has built a reputation for delivering specialist aluminium glazing solutions across the UK construction and rail sectors. We work closely with our sister company, Window Control Systems UK Ltd, from our headquarters in Huddersfield and manufacturing facility in Slaithwaite.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator looking to take the next step in their career and help lead a growing team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fabricating aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling systems
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the workshop
  • Maintaining quality control and production standards
  • Assisting with training and supporting junior team members
  • Working from technical drawings and specifications
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in aluminium fabrication
  • Previous experience in a senior, supervisory or team leader role
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Full UK driving licence desirable

Are you an experienced Aluminium Fabricator looking for your next opportunity?

UK Curtain Walling Ltd is seeking a skilled Aluminium Fabricator to join our growing team, manufacturing high-quality aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling systems for commercial construction projects across the UK.

Based at our manufacturing facility in Slaithwaite, you’ll become part of a friendly and experienced team working on a wide variety of specialist projects, including commercial buildings, rail infrastructure and bespoke glazing installations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fabricating aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling systems
  • Working from technical drawings and specifications
  • Operating workshop machinery and equipment safely
  • Ensuring products meet our quality standards
  • Supporting colleagues to deliver projects on time and to specification

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in aluminium fabrication or a similar manufacturing role
  • Good practical and technical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
